Abbey Machinery

A third generation family business, Abbey Machinery has been a cornerstone of Ireland's agricultural sector for 75 years. Off the natural gas grid, they have embraced a renewable liquid gas blend to meet the high heat demands of their production process from paint booth heaters to powder-coating ovens operating at over 200 °C. This is aided by onsite solar electricity generation and battery storage, supplying 100% renewable electricity.

Clare, is leading the way in sustainable hospitality.  A family-run hotel, certified carbon neutral through the Green Hospitality Programme’s GREENMark and a proud member of the Burren Ecotourism Network, Falls Hotel & Spa has embraced a bold, mixed-technology approach to decarbonisation. Since 2022, the hotel has used 100% renewable liquid gas for heating and hot water, marking a major step in reducing its carbon footprint.
